Since the day that Ms. Mau came to speak to our class, I have decided to do A LOT more research on different colleges. I feel that the more options I have the better. I decided that I should not limit myself so...In no particular order, I have listed the potential colleges that I am interested in attending below:
Boston Conservatory
Oklahoma City University
University of Michigan
Penn State University
Carnegie Mellon
Point Park University
Elon University
Indian University
North Carolina University
Shenandoah University
New York University : Tisch School of the Arts at NYU
Julliard
I don't know exactly which college I plan to attend but I do know what kind of career I would like to get into. All these colleges share one similarity and that is that they all have great Visual Art programs (film, theater, dance, e.t.c). That is generally what I would like to get in to.
As for my college essay...I don't know what each college looks for in the essay portion but I would like my essay to stand out like the ones that I read in class. I think I would like to start thinking about the things that make me different or the things that set me apart from everyone else. Then I would like to start writing about that. Otherwise, I have no specific idea on what to write about for my college essay...HEEELLLLPPP!!! hahahaha

You may want to consult Mrs. Mau about the type of essay that would be the most useful for you to start with. She may remember particular students and particular essays or topics.
Sounds as if you have a fun three years ahead of you, narrowing down your choices :)
