Starting off my poster was the hardest part. I started trying many different ideas I had and then having none at all. So I guess you can say it was a process of "trial and error". Hahaha, but with all the different ideas I had there was one idea that I seemed to stick with. It started with me getting inspired by a polaroid picture. After that I kinda went "crazy" with photoshop and I just did whatever I felt like. Hahaha, it wasn't something that I planned ahead. My ideas usually come on the spot.
My poster is made up of pictures that I own. All the graphics came from my own camera. The "focus" of my poster is how I discover myself as an adolescent. The pictures represent what helps me to discover myself and grow up. My passion, my dreams, my priorities, my strengths, my friends, & my happiness are all things that help me to discover who I really am as I "come of age".

Hi Niki,
ReplyDeleteNice use of the "polaroid concept" to pull your poster together. Nice use of font to highlight elements in the text as well.
What's the background? Was that created for this or something you'd already had available?

Hey Mrs. S,
ReplyDeleteThe background is a collage of more pictures. I made the collage separate and placed it as the background later.
hey Niki,
ReplyDeleteI looove it!
all the pictures show what contributed to you discovering yourself, and how you "came of age." Not to mention your poster is very creative!
I honestly have no idea how you could improve it, cause it's really good!
great job!!
